Mushroom trifolati

Mushroom trifolati is a well known Italian recipe of a side dish to serve with several kind of fish and meat, amazing even on toasted bread and so easy to make. It looks like there is no excuse, you should definately buy all the ingredients you need to prepare mushrooms in this way and enjoy all the beautiful benefit you can get from this vegetable which contains protein, vitamins, mineral and antioxidants.

Ingredients:
  • 300 gr champignon mashrooms
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 2 garlic heads
  • chopped parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
Method:

Wash the champignon mushrooms, then cut in to pieces not too big, normally in four, depending on the size of your mushroom.
Put the oil in a pan and warm it up, once hot, put inside the garlic head and let it cook a couple of minutes, then add the mushrooms and stir constantly, until the oil is completly absorbed.
At this point, lower the heat and let the mushrooms release all the water; then raise the heat again until when the water evaporates completely.
Season with salt and pepper, then add the chopped parsley and serve it.
